Trishan Foods another business asked to vacate block on Fourth Street

With two more business closures the entire block at the corner of
Fourth Street and Second Avenue West is now vacant at the request
of the property owners

Change it seems is coming to a block of real estate in the heart of downtown Prince Rupert, with the Trishan Food lcoation another local business that has been asked to vacate its Fourth Street home.

The advisory for customers of the popular take out food location came earlier this month as the owners of Trishan Foods outlined their sadness at having to temporarily suspend their operations, though vowing to seek out a new location and resume operations at some point in the future.

Noting in their Facebook post that they had recently been asked to vacate their five year old spot, something which took place with a rather quick pace.

The closure of Trishan Foods makes for the fourth establishment in the block to shut its doors, yesterday we noted the sudden shut down of the storefront operations of Data Boy Electronics.

Another tenant of the block, Archipelago Marine Research, previously had relocated to new offices on Third Avenue West.

With all of the change found at the corner of Fourth Street and Second West, residents will no doubt be keeping their eyes on the block, awaiting what appears to be a coming change in the wind for the downtown area.
