RCMP in Northwest look for help in Kitimat robbery

The RCMP in the Northwest are seeking the assistance of the public in the identification of a suspect in a Kitimat Bank Robbery this week, the incident taking place mid afternoon of Wednesday, February 12th.

Shortly before 2 PM a man wearing a Panda hoodie entered the Scotia Bank branch in Kitimat, approaching a teller and threatening the use of a gun he then demanded money.

In addition to the hoodie, the suspect, who is described as six feet tall wore gloves, jeans and work boots. He departed with an undisclosed amount of cash, no one was harmed during the course of the incident.

If anyone in the Northwest recognizes the suspect in the photo above, they are asked to contact the Kitimat RCMP at 250-632-7111 or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS
