| The Ocean Centre Mall is the new if temporary home for the Cradles to Moccasins Family Centre. |
With their former home on Third Avenue West flooded out by burst pipes in January, the Cradles to Moccasins Family Centre has made the hike one block to the east, setting up shop in the Ocean Centre Mall.
The move which is described as temporary, came earlier this month now finds the program located on the fourth floor of the downtown office mall, with hours of Operation Monday through Thursdays of 1 to 5 PM and Fridays from 1 to 3PM.
While a little bit of a smaller space, those who take part in the program designed for new borns to 6
years of age will still have opportunities to connect with other families and their children.
Among some of the features that they offer in their Ocean Centre location are a range of tabletop toys, playdough, playfood and other items to help develop skills for the toddlers.
Family members can take advantage of the experience and support of the North Coast Community Service staff to learn more about programs and activities that are available to encourage child development.
