Emergency water work to close stretch of McBride by the Prince Rupert Courthouse

A water-main break in downtown Prince Rupert on Tuesday, will require the closure to traffic of the 100 Block of McBride through the day today, to allow city crews to deal with the latest of the city's ruptured infrastructure.

Traffic will be diverted around the work site with no access to the BC Liquor store/Safeway parking lot from the McBride Street side from 1st to 2nd Avenues, signs will be posted and traffic controllers will be on site during the course of the day's work.

City work crews were on site early Wednesday morning set to
tackle another water-main issue in Prince Rupert
