Bulkley Valley and The Lakes under severe thunderstorm watch

Those heading through the Bulkley Valley and Lakes District (and beyond) through Tuesday should keep an eye on the sky for potential trouble, as Environment Canada issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for that region on Tuesday morning.

The warning advises that "the main threats from these storms are large hail, damaging wind gusts, intense lightning, and heavy downpours." all which could be part of the weather scenario with the severe thunderstorm watch.

The severe weather watch extends from the Bulkley Valley along the Highway 16 corridor eastbound all the way to the Alberta border.
