Economic prospects have Rupert Real Estate on the Vancouver radar

With the talk of port development and the prospect of the LNG industry arriving on the North Coast, the Vancouver media has begun to take note of Prince Rupert's real estate sector and the potential for investment in local properties.

The topic was featured this past weekend on the CKNW Saturday program Money Talks with Michael Campbell, who had real estate investor and commentator Ozzie Jurock as his guest.

Campbell and Jurock reviewed some of the industrial plans for the North Coast and how those plans are already starting to provide for a jump in real estate opportunities in Prince Rupert.

Jurock of course is rather familiar with the Prince Rupert real estate market, having recently been in the news as a long running court case over a condo development in the city came to a settlement last month.

And while that experience may have provided for some challenging times for all involved, it doesn't seem to have affected his thoughts on the promise of return from potential North Coast investments.

He frequently highlights Prince Rupert opportunities through his website Jurock.com.

You can review the discussion on Prince Rupert and Northern BC from the Saturday June 15th program by way of the CKNW Audio Vault, the Rupert real estate overview takes place from the 9:45 to 10 AM segment.
