A horrible start to the weekend north of Terrace, as West Pacific Traffic Services of the RCMP revealed the details behind a crash on Highway 113, just 80 kilometres north of Terrace.
RCMP officers from the Lisims/Nass Valley detachment were the first called to respond to reports of the single vehicle crash at 2 AM on Saturday morning.
Upon arrival they discovered a Pontiac Sunbird had left the road and rolled over, leaving one person a 28 male driver dead and two passengers injured.
Both survivors were transported to Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace, however one had injuries that were serious enough to require air ambulance transport to Vancouver.
The RCMP continue on with their investigation into the cause of the collision.
Early reports from a variety of media sources advise that alcohol was believed to be a factor in the fatal crash.
