A new season to dive into the pool with the Prince Rupert Rapids

They may not have anywhere to train at until at least the middle of October, but the lack of pool time at the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre won't slow down the recruiting drive for the Prince Rupert Rapids.

The popular and successful swimming program in the city is seeking new members, with Registration for the new swim season set to take place on Tuesday, September 30th in the lobby of the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre.

The registration session is scheduled to run from 5 to 6 PM.

And while evaluations as to swim skill levels will obviously have to wait until the repairs to the pool complex are complete, the opportunity to learn more about the program will provide newcomers to the Rapids with some background on the level of instruction available, as well as the commitment for travel and fundraising that is required.

Providing all works out on the repair end of things at the pool, the Rapids will be making their splash into the new season on October 14th.

Those seeking more information on the program can call 250-624-8023
