The program which provides an opportunity to promote business as a career option to entrepreneurs has launched more than a few Prince Rupert businesses in recent years.
The popular Rising Stars project offers an opportunity as an entry point for students at Northwest Community College to network through Chamber contacts and make use of the resources of the
Chamber of Commerce to further their business efforts.
During the course of the six month program, successful applicants become honorary members of the Chamber of Commerce, attending monthly Membership Lunch meetings with their mentors, making valuable community contacts. They also will benefit from workshops and events tailored specifically for the Rising Stars program.
