With the more sedate days of summer behind us, moving into mid September provided for a busy week of items of note for the blog.

As part of our weekly review, every Sunday we offer up the  recap for the week of the top five items viewed over the course of the last seven days.

Included in the countdown, we will provide links to the articles in question, offering up with one click of the mouse, those items of the week that you may have missed.

This week, the tragic events of Thursday along Highway 16 made for the most read item on the blog.

They were followed by items of interest on the upcoming NCAA season for Prince Rupert goaltender Frank Slubowski and his WMU Broncos, the latest news out of the Prince Rupert Mayoralty campaign, as well as some background on a tour of North Coast LNG projects by MLA's  Jennifer Rice and Bruce Ralston.
