| The Northern Adventure will have double duty this May long weekend |
The first long weekend of the near summer will feature a move to ease the transportation issues between Haida Gwaii and the North Coast, with BC Ferries making a move that will be welcomed on both sides of Hecate Strait.
With heavy commercial truck usage expected over this weekend along with the usual passenger traffic that a holiday weekend can bring, BC Ferries has added an additional sailing for the Northern Adventure to the Prince Rupert - Skidegate run of the Northern Service.
Monday, May 18 will bring two sailings over the 24 hour period.
