Tourneys and scrambles herald the start of the North Coast Golf Season

After a long, wet winter, the North Coast Golfers are ready to test out the clubs with two events this week scheduled to help get golfers back into their routines. With sunny skies and warm weather anticipated for the early part of the week (the weekend might be a bit damp however), the Prince Rupert Golf Course is going to be a busy place over the next few days, offering up the chance to shake off some of that winter rust.

Today the Opening Day Scramble for Men's Day takes place as the gents return to the links in a Wednesday tradition. Today's action kicks off with a shotgun start at 1:30, the forty dollar price also gets you dinner in the club house.

This weekend the popular His and Hers Tournament is set to tee off, with the two day event underway on Saturday. Registration fee for the weekend tourney is 175 dollars per team.

And for those just looking to get in an afternoon or evening of golf, the Spring rates remain in effect until May 9th, with 25 per cent discounts for 9 or 18 holes.

For more information or to get your team set up for a tee time contact the Pro Shop at 250-624-2000.
