Prince Rupert Fire fighters expand on training with five day confined space rescue program

The Parking lot of the Prince Rupert Civic Centre made for a classroom setting on Tuesday, as members of the Prince Rupert Fire Rescue Department took part in the second of five days of training provided by Dynamic Rescue Systems.

The Coquitlam based Safety company has arrived in Prince Rupert to offer their Confined Space Rescue program, taking the PRFD members through a range of scenarios and the proper use of a number of resources.

As part of the program students are given written, individual proficiency and practical evaluations.

Dynamic works with fire departments across the province in upgrading skills and introducing new technology, you can learn more about their programs from their website and Facebook page.
