While the current provincial measures in place in response to COVID-19 have meant a stop to all public gatherings for now, the local Society dedicated towards putting together a range of Prince Rupert community festivals still is moving forward with planning for the day when we can all gather again.

Towards some of that planning Prince Rupert Special Events is hosting their Annual General meeting next week, this years session an on line virtual one, with the Society looking to enlist more volunteer towards helping in the planning and organizing of the four big festivals, Seafest, The Children's Festival, Canada Day and Winterfest.

Whether you're a student  or a senior and all between, new faces and helping hands are always welcome and you can learn more about how the Society is approaching these times of COVID at next weeks session.

The currently are also looking for members to join their Board of Directors
