The Airport Authority has eight directors who oversee the operations of the airport, those on the Board sit for a term of two years.

Among the largest of the challenges for the Board, is the quest towards providing for additional airline service to the community, something that would likely help to slow down the ongoing attrition rate of travellers making the drive to Terrace for a more varied flight schedule.
We don't hear much when it comes to the work of the Airport Authority Board.
It's been a few years since City Council has made time for a public update from the Board or Airport Manager, something which is probably overdue so residents can hear of the challenges at the local aviation terminal and how the city hopes to move forward with its transportation hub on Digby Island.
