Opportunity for students to learn more on career opportunities with the Port of Prince Rupert comes May 16-18


Secondary School Students in the city have an opportunity to get a first hand look at the careers available through port related industry next month, as the Prince Rupert Port Authority hosts its Seventh Annual "Adventures in the Port of Prince Rupert"

The project which is co-sponsered by Community Futures of the Pacific Northwest and Rotary Club provides a unique experience for students from Grades 9-12 to meet future employers and a close up look at a number port operators and the career opportunities that could be available.

Space for the program is limited so registration is key, students in Prince Rupert should contact their school counsellor for details on how to apply for the three day Adventure.
