The need for work on the roof of the Lester Centre has the City seeking out some proposals through the BC Bid program, the Call for proposals posted to the provincial site last week.
The introduction to the call for Proposals notes of three areas of the Lester Centre to be addressed, all located towards the back side of the facility on Wantage Road at McBride.
The call for proposals will end on May 8th, with a contract award to come by May 22nd and the required work to be completed by the end of September.

As part of the March 22nd Budget Presentation, the City's CFO Corinne Bomben noted that the cost was estimated at $40,000 with the funding to come out of city reserves/surplus.
