Paramedic Instruction program set to launch in Northwest in May/June

With the BC Emergency Health System always on the search for new Emergency Responders, a training program coming to the Northwest this Spring should help to build up the staffing levels in the months to come.

Over the last few weeks, an information flyer has been arriving in mailboxes across the region, with details towards two upcoming training sessions for the Northwest.

The  entry level training program is provided by Columbia Paramedic Academy  with Smithers hosting the first training session May 15-26, following by a similar session in Terrace June 12-23

The program features 18 hours of study on line and 10 days (80 hours) in class.
