Some roadside vehicle rampaging made for our most read story of the week, that after we took note of the landscape of the area of Hays Cove at Conrad, along Eight West after an early AM vehicle incident., which left some significant damage to a stretch along the roadway.
The remainder of our list of five featured interest in our notes on some property work taking place on Portage Avenue at two former locations for the former GM Dealerships in the city.
Television viewers and internet users were off line for a period of Monday evening, with CityWest later advising that a damaged fibre repair made for the service interruption.
A chance for the public to have a say in what a re-envisioned Mariner's Memorial Park might look like comes up later this month, with some strong interest found from our notes on the community engagement plans.
And readers found some interest in our look at an extended interview with Mayor Her Pond, that CFTK TV 7 recent provided video of as part of their Open Connection program.
From the weeks review the most read of our items however was that which looked at some early morning motorized mayhem on the city's east side.
Vehicle incident on City's East Side leaves trail of damage -- An alleged impaired driver created some havoc on the city's east side this week, with an early Wednesday morning incident that left property damage both residential and civic along a stretch of Eight East at Conrad and Hays Cove. On Thursday, the Prince Rupert RCMP provided for some additional details to the early morning troubles. (posted April 5, 2023)

Prince Rupert Mayor Herb Pond expands on civic themes in recent CFTK Open Connection Feature -- There are a wide variety of Prince Rupert topics up for discussion in a TV7 feature that was recently posted to the CFTK TV 7 video page. The feature interview providing close to 25 minutes of comment and observation from Mayor Herb Pond. That culled from interviews that seem dated to the Fall of 2022, but offering up some indication as to where the Mayor and Council are directing their attention (posted April 3, 2023)
