The fall season for a sport that has grown in popularity since it was introduced a few years ago will soon get underway, with Registration now underway for the 2023Fall Futsal Season.
The sport will be played at two locations this year, Girls Futsal is set for Tuesdays and Thursday at Lax Keen elementary School, the Boys Futsal season goes Wednesday and Fridays at Conrad Elementary.
The Prince Rupert Youth Soccer Association outlines what the sport is all about below:
Organizers are still looking for volunteers to help out with the fall launch, you can learn more about their plans for the months ahead and how you can register your child for the sport through their Social Media stream here.
Participation in the sport falls under the criteria for KidSport In Prince Rupert for those in the community that may need some assistance for community sporting activities, learn more about the program here.
