Information Technology help the latest focus for city's Human Resources office job posting

Keeping the information technology systems operating at City Hall and the range of its operations around the community, is the focus for the city's Human Resources office, with their latest job opportunity looking for IT help.

The focus for the positing notes  for the Systems Analyst I opportunity is that of what you can bring to the position, as well as the need to obtain RCMP Secret Clearance.

As the System Analyst I, you'll provide technical expertise services to support and maintain the continuity of the organization's computer systems and networks. You will possess knowledge of developments, trends, and best practices in technology and business networks. 

In addition, your duties will include providing client support to City Council and staff, and basic training to staff on new software, security, and City systems. 

You will be an active team member in assisting in delivering media and broadcast support for the City and as such must be willing to work evenings, some weekends, and attend bi-weekly Council meetings.

The post is that of full time, union exempt job opportunity with what is described as a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
