It makes for a topic that most probably don't want to discuss, but information is key when dealing with the problem of a bed bug infestation and tonight in Prince Rupert organizers of an information session hope to help separate some of the myth and rumours from the discussion.
The community forum is taking place at the Nisga'a Hall on 3rd Avenue, set to start at 7 PM and going until 8:30.
The evening features a pair of guest speakers for the session, with Ulf Kristiansen of the Prince Rupert Unemployed Action Centre and Debby Peng, an Environmental Health Officer with Northern Health scheduled talk.
The goal of the night to provide some background information on your role in keeping your family safe and healthy.
In addition to some of the background on the topic for the information session, refreshments will be served and door prizes will be included as part of the informal approach to the discussion on the night.
The program is sponsored by Northern Health, The Prince Rupert Aboriginal Community Services Society and the Government of Canada.
