Property themes will make for a good portion of tonight's first Prince Rupert City Council meeting for February, with Council set to review a range of reports from their contract planners iPlan.
Council members will review a number of Property Variance reports from Chris Buchan, as well as a larger overview for the proposed housing plans for the Kootenay Avenue region.
With the latest presentation providing a progress report on what is planned for that area and how the proponents have responded to concerns from residents from their last proposal of last fall.
Council members will also receive a number of reports from Corporate Administrator Rosa Miller, with an appointment to the Prince Rupert Library Board, letter of support for the Friendship House and support for an initiative from MP Taylor Bachrach among the topics for review.
The City's Financial Officer will outline some notes on a proposal towards acquisition and installation of a 24 hour standalone restroom facility through a Grant application available through the Prince Rupert Aboriginal Community Services Society.
A final vote for the Development Approval Information Bylaw and the Development Procedures Bylaw rounds out the work on the evening.
With Public Orders in place towards Social Gathering, a note posted to the Agenda Page for tonight's session indicates the this evening's meeting once again will be a remote participation affair, with no members of the public allowed into the Chamber.

Council members continue to make use of the Closed Council process this evening, with a Special Closed Session set for 5PM Special Closed Session for 5PM citing two items from the Community Charter as the reason to exclude the public.
