Blog Watching: Week ending April 3, 2022

Municipal themes dominated the week,  with Monday's City Council session setting the tone for a couple of topics.

The first a presentation to the council members providing a preview of the new tourism signage program for the community from Tourism Prince Rupert.

Our look at a call for proposals for the City towards future planning for Parks, Open Spaces and Recreation areas also found a large audience, as did our City Council notes related to a rejected variance permit for a property on Atlin Avenue.

Even the work of the Terrace City Council captured some attention over the last seven days, with our review of the work of a delegation from the Skeena Valley City which was in Victoria to further seek assistance on a number of social and crime issues in the community.

Our April 1st item on crypto currency as a local industry also made for a large volume of readers on the week, making for a well received piece when it came to the five most read items of the week.

However, by far the roll out of the new Tourism Prince Rupert signage program gained the largest audience, with many of our readers exploring the plans to come by the end of 2022.
