Rupert residents take the Trolley out for a Test Drive

Saturday's sunshine and warm temperatures brought out a large crowd of locals and some visitors down to the Atlin Terminal area of the city, many taking in the Market at the Hecate Strait lot, while others took advantage of a chance to hop aboard Prince Rupert's newest tourism experience.

The Olde Time Trolley Company was offering up a free one and a half hour tour of the city on Saturday, with would be riders in lines waiting through the Noon hour to 4 PM period for their chance to hop aboard.


The Operators provided the finally tally by the end of the Day Saturday, with over 500 riders taking the tour of the City, with the feedback so far from the community quite positive of the experience.

Things ramp up for the season with the arrival of the First Cruise Ships of the Season on Wednesday and Thursday, when things go into full swing at the Northland Cruise Terminal.

Wednesday brings the Carnival Miracle to town with an 8 AM arrival,  on Thursday the Holland America Vessel Koningsdam pulls into port at 8AM.
