This weekend's Seafest Celebrations isn't all focused on the Downtown core or Cow Bay, tonight marks the first of some night time social events.
The Civic Centre is the venue this evening for Seafest Movie Night tonight at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre Arena.
Puss and Boots is the featured attraction for young and old, with the doors to the Arena opening at 6:30 PM and showtime set for 7PM.
Admission is by donation with Popcorn going for 2 dollars, the Civic Centre. canteen will also be open for the show.
Tomorrow the focus shifts to the new Wheelhouse Brewing Company location at the CN Station on the waterfront, that with an Outdoor Beer Garden set for the area just east of the building which is not quite ready for its debut.
The event takes place from 1 PM to 8PM and is a fundraiser for the Prince Rupert Fire fighters' fund.

The Seafest Party moves back to the Civic Centre later Saturday Night, with the Seafest Gardens taking place at the Arena.
One of the Northwest's most popular bands, The Rats from Kitimat are the house band for the night doors open at 8:30 PM.
The admission for the event which is fundraiser for Minor hockey is 30 dollars.
