Construction for new RCMP detachment to Close Third Avenue East for the week

Access to Third Ave East is closed at least for the week as
work continues on the new RCMP Detachment 

As the new RCMP detachment build begins to take shape at the corner of McBride and Third Avenue East, work has reached a state where the city has closed the roadway linking the downtown to the Cow Bay Area for the next week.

The advisory was posted to the City's social media stream on Friday afternoon, gaining some feedback from the community through the weekend.

Those looking to access Cow Bay can use the alternate route of the recently reopened First Avenue East which circles around the area of construction.
