Members of local Chambers of Commerce across the Northwest have taken on a collaborative spirit to address the issues for the regional economy, announcing a new initiative last week that will see them look for ways to improve on economic vitality and elevate employment prospects.

Noting of the Collective commitment and shared vision toward their project, the three Chambers to take to the work ahead include the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce, the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce and the Smithers Chamber of Commerce.

Some of their focus for the project can be found from their introductory statement.

The September 13th information release (available here) doesn't go into too much detail as to how the initiative will move forward; or what their Chamber membership may come to expect in the months ahead as it evolves.

The plans which are still in motion it seems, will be shared through their social media streams, the Prince Rupert and District version available here.

More notes on the regional Business Sector can be explore here.
