The Riders of the Cops for Cancer Tour De North were heading towards Terrace yesterday, they complete their travels along Highway 16 later today when they arrive at the Crest Hotel in Prince Rupert. |
Update: with the Ride complete the 2023 participants have raised more than 150,000 dollars from the tour of Northern BC from September 15-21.

Riders on the 2023 Tour de North are in the homestretch for their remarkable journey across Northwestern British Columbia, the riders pulled out of Terrace this morning for one final push down Highway 16.
Their destination the drive up to Prince Rupert's Crest Hotel, an event anticipated for later this afternoon as they make the final few pedals for the finish line.

So far, the weather has been helpful to their cause, with the Sun and a warm breeze holding off the threatening skies to the West of what is a looming weather system making its way to the North Coast.
The 13 participants and their support team left Prince George last Friday with a grand sendoff, since then they have been welcomed by community after community along the highway 16 corridor.
The riders have come from all corners of the North and Central Interior, with three in this years tour from Prince Rupert.

The money raised from the 2023 Tour de North goes towards support of the Canadian Cancer Society and their research into pediatric cancer as well as to help send children and teens with Cancer to Camp Goodtimes.
