Riders on the 2023 Tour de North are in the homestretch for their remarkable journey across Northwestern British Columbia, the riders pulled out of Terrace this morning for one final push down Highway 16.

Their destination the drive up to Prince Rupert's Crest Hotel, an event anticipated for later this afternoon as they  make the final few pedals for the finish line.

Prince Rupert's Crest Hotel is the finish line for the
2023 tour de North which arrives in the late afternoon

So far, the weather has been helpful to their cause, with the Sun and a warm breeze holding off  the threatening skies to the West of what is a looming weather system making its way to the North Coast.

The 13 participants and their support team left Prince George last Friday with a grand sendoff, since then they have been welcomed by community after community along the highway 16 corridor.

The riders have come from all corners of the North and Central Interior, with three in this years tour from Prince Rupert.
