Northern Savings set to host Prince Rupert's Terry Fox Run on Sunday

The North Coast's popular Terry Fox Run returns this weekend with Northern Savings once again the host venue for the community fund raising event towards Cancer research through the Terry Fox Foundation, the September run one which brings out a strong level of participation and community spirit.

The Run which will start at 1 PM on Sunday from the Third Avenue West Prince Rupert head office for Northern Savings, will offer two routes for your consideration. 

Both of which travel along most of the city's eastern waterfront area.

The 3km route will take runners and walkers as far as the Canfisco plant on George Hills Way before they make the turn to return to the downtown core. 

A 7km route is also available that taking participants down the Rushbrook Trail to the Salt Marsh before the return to the Northern Savings location.

Northern Savings notes that for this years event they will have a range of activities as part of the days event's including a remote broadcast from CFNR, door prizes and some wraps from Arabisk Mediterranean Cuisine.
