from the District's Volunteer Fire fighters

With summer in the rear view mirror and the official start of fall just days away, the Port Edward Volunteer Fire/Rescue department is back into a full training regimen, the department sharing a few snippets of their recent work around the community.

From inspections around Port Edward to some training work out at Prudhomme Lake the review provides a glimpse into some of the training and service that the Department offers to the District.

The fall also means its recruiting season, as the Port Edward department looks to build up its ranks, with a full training program for those that are interested in pursuing fire fighting and serve the District.

You can drop into the Hall at 567 Sunset Drive in Port Edward or give them a call at 250-628-3323 to learn more about what is required to join the Department and what they have to offer those who look to respond to Emergency calls for the region.
