The Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce is putting the finishing touches to their plans for Saturday, September 30th, when the Chamber welcomes golfers to the Prince Rupert Golf Club for their Truth and Reconciliation Golf Scramble.
The Day of 9 holes of golf starts at 9AM Shotguns start with the golfing giving way to dining at 5PM.
The Chamber has room for 72 golfers with 4 members per team the plan for the event.
With a focus on Truth and Reconciliation Day, the Scramble will begin with a few words from Elder Clarence Nelson, while a portion of the profits from the Chamber's fundraising event will be donated to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
