As tourism season winds down, North Coast Seniors to get chance for Free Trolley rides this Thursday

You've seen them passing by throughout the summer and now if you're a Senior in the Prince Rupert area you can hop aboard for a ride, thanks to a couple of local families and business.

This Thursday the Old Time Trolley Company will be making a special run of the city, departing from the Prince Rupert Senior's Centre at Grenville Court.

With three times set for the tours, 9:30 AM, 11AM and 12:30 PM.

Those interested in taking the tours are asked to sign up, making note of the preferred departure time and the number of people in your travel party.

To do so, you are asked to email prmember@Citywest.ca

You can also find out more on the plans by phone at 250-624-9811 or 778-884-7007

The Free tour of the city has been made possible through the combined efforts of SeaSport Outboard Marine Limited and the Stromdahl and Palmer families in Prince Rupert.

The announcement of the tours came through the SeaSport Marine social media stream

The Olde Time Trolley tours were the big hit of the summer cruise ship season, taking large number of visitors  across the city to explore the community.

They also proved popular for locals when summer Free Rides were offered, the Thursday special runs for Seniors will make for a nice farewell to the 2023 season.
