The arrival of fall has brought local curlers just a little bit closer to the start of the 2023-24 curling season at the Seal Cove Rink |
Prince Rupert Curlers can get their brooms and shoes out of storage, the Prince Rupert Curling club announcing that Curling season takes to the pebbled ice of the Seal Cove Rink on October 10th.
Natasha Lebedick advised the club membership in mid September that the Ice plant was put into operation in early September, beginning the process of ice making for the year ahead.
The Schedule for the launch of the 2023 season finds Tuesday for Sterling, Wednesday Open, Thursday Juniors and Friday a Mixed allotment.
Still to come is the list of Bonspiels for 2023-24 and the special events at the Club, something which might bring an update at the Annual General Meeting, that is set for this Thursday the 28th at 7PM at the Seal Cove club.
More notes on the launch of the 2023-24 season can be found from the Prince Rupert Curling Club Social media stream.
If you're new to town or want to start curling, contact Natasha through their social media stream or call 250-600-1972.
