The Friendship Transportation Bus will be parked for much of the rest of September, with a return to service set for early October |
Those who make use of the twice a week bus service between Prince Rupert and Terrace hosted by the Friendship House, will have to make some alternative transportation plans come Monday.
In a Social Media post Friendship House has advised that the popular service between the two communities will not be available from September 18th to 29th. With the scheduled return for the bus set for Tuesday, October 3rd with the departure from the Friendship House on Fraser Street.
They also note of a schedule change when the service resumes.
No details were outlined towards the latest service interruption.
The Friendship House Bus has had an on the road, off the road kind of summer, with a couple of service interruptions over the last few months.

In addition to the Friendship House service of Tuesdays and Thursday, the BC North Bus travels along the Highway 16 corridor with departures from the Highliner Inn.
