Prince Rupert's Argosy to shift focus of business model with closure of storefront operations

Argosy Owners Frances and Richard have announced that
they will be closing the storefront operations of their
antiques and collectible business in favour of an online presence

The Third Street commercial area is about to see another change, with the Argosy, the local antiques and collectibles emporium announcing plans to close its storefront operations on October 7th.

That gives local treasure hunters just a few weeks to pop into the physical location and take one last browse around or make a purchase from the popular spot in the city's downtown business area.

Frances and Richard from Argosy, provided a retrospective of their ten years in business in Prince Rupert through the Argosy Social Media stream last week.

The highly acclaimed business duo recounting some of the highlights of their search for items to offer up to the community for sale,  community involvement through the years, as well as their travels up and down Third Avenue over that period of time.

An accompanying slide show to go with their update can be viewed here.

As they note, while the storefront doors may be closing, they still plan to curate and sell items of interest to the community through an online presence.

More on that venture to come once they've made their farewells to the foot traffic to the store and have turned the lights out on Third West for the final time.

You can keep up on what's next in their adventure through their Social Media stream here.
