Christmas decorators showcasing creations for Winterfest Light up the Town

community template for light displays all over the city

As you travel through town in our extended periods of darkness of the winter, the progress for many residents in their Christmas lights decorating is easy to chart, the glow growing by the day as homeowners and business operators dig out their annual lights and work on this years creations.

Their work in sync with Prince Rupert Special Events as they head to Saturday's official tree lighting celebration at the Prince Rupert Court House Lawn.

For those decorating at home or on the business side, make sure you register with the Special Events Society so as to be considered as part of their two categories.

The event is free to take part in and all you have to do is send your home or business in a picture along with your name, address and phone number before December 10th.

It's that time of the season again, where Prince Rupert residents
and businesses owners dig out their Christmas lights and 
showcase their creations for public view
 

All of the submissions will be presented on Facebook with community voting to follow, Prince Rupert and area residents learn who has the most impressive display on December 15th.

The annual showcase of winter lights is sponsored by DP World, City of Prince Rupert, Trigon, Prince Rupert Port Authority and Pembina.
