Moose Lodge set as host venue for Louis Riel Dance Saturday Night in Prince Rupert

 

The Moose Hall hosts the 2023 Louis Riel Dance on Saturday night 

Saturday night's the big night for Northwest Métis members, with the Prince Rupert and District Métis Society hosting their 2023 Louis Riel Dance, offering a night of food, refreshment, music and dancing at Prince Rupert's Moose Hall.

The Doors to the Moose Hall open at 7:30PM with dancing from 8 until midnight, music provided by Métis Fiddler, Andrew Goulet and Friends.

North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice turned history professor this week using her Social Media stream to highlight the history of Louis Riel, one of a number of items which she has shared information on during her pause from Legislature duties. 

Though that news flow did come with a few rather startling omissions as the week moved forward, the must unusual of the missed opportunities, that of any mention of Saturday's Remembrance Day event in Prince Rupert.
