The prep cooking has been underway for a bit now and tomorrow night the bounty will be served as the Second Annual Ukrainian Dinner and Dessert Auction takes place at the Highliner Plaza.
What's a head is a full night of Home cooked Ukrainian Food, along with live music, drinks and dancing.
The festivities also include a Desert Auction and silent auction, with the money raised to be used in support of the growing Ukrainian community in Prince Rupert which is growing significantly as the North coast welcomes those displaced by war.
Tickets for the event are sixty dollars and you can learn more on how to access them here.
Doors open at 6 PM at the Highliner Inn on First Ave West.
The community organization Rupert Society for Refugee Support is behind the dinner planing, the group which has been in place since 2015 has provided sanctuary and resettled dozens of people from both Syria and Ukraine in the community.
The group recently provided a sneak look at some of the art work that will be available for purchase at the event and you can get a look at some of the preparations for the Friday Feast and celebrations through the Rupert Society Refugee Support Social media page.
