Multicultural Festival is at home at the Highliner Sunday

The mosaic that makes Prince Rupert will be on full display this weekend with two events of note to showcase and celebrate our community.

Tonight of course brings the Second Annual Ukrainian Dinner and Dessert Auction wth doors at the Highliner Inn at 6pm.

Less than 48 hours later, the Highliner welcomes the world once again, the Sunday event the popular annual Celebration of Multicultural Diversity, set to take place from 1 to 4 PM.

Hosted by the North Coast Immigrant and Multicultural Service Society, the thee hours feature an afternoon of traditional food and multicultural performances.

North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice gave the event some additional momentum this week through a shout out on her social media stream. 

The MLA noting how the Sunday celebration takes place just as Multiculturalism week in BC comes to a close.
