November Rains set to arrive in Force through rest of week, into the weekend and on to Monday

things are set for a change quickly come this evening as a major 
weather system arrives on the North Coast 

Enjoy the sun while it lasts this morning,  today may be the last opportunity for a walk in the sun for a significant bit of time ahead, with a weather maker approaching the region set to bring large levels of precipitation with it.

The rain begins this evening as winds from the Southeast arrive setting the opening march ashore for the extra wet weekend ahead. The winds could gust up to 70 km/h at times as the weather system prepares  to settle in. 


Rainfall totals will be somewhat normal overnight, but Thursday is when the full front arrives and with ihe volume of precipitation takes a sharp jump upwards.

Wednesday evening -- 10 mm
Thursday -- 50-75 mm
Friday -- 35-45 mm
Saturday -- 10 mm
Sunday -- 10 mm
Monday -- 25 mm


A Gale Warning is also in place for Hecate Strait with strong winds and building seas over the next 72 hours or so.
