An opportunity for a cup of tea with those who helped build Prince Rupert through the years, along with a chance to win some Raffle prizes comes up this Saturday, as the Prince Rupert Seniors' Centre hosts their Annual Fall Tea.
The popular community event takes place at the Seniors' Centre on Grenville Court from 11 AM to 1PM
Three prizes make for the winnings of the Raffle, A first prize of a Quilt, Second prize of a Sterling Silver Oval Necklace and Third Prize of Sterling Silver Filgree Earrings.
You could be the winner with just one two dollar raffle ticket.
If you can't make the Tea, but still want a ticket contact one of the Seniors' Centre members.
The Draw takes place at 1 PM at the Tea.
All of the proceeds from the Raffle are being put towards Senior Centre and its programs.
Admission is seven dollars and included as part of the event are sandwiches, sweet treats, coffee, and tea along with some great company!
The Tea also will feature 50/50 tickets will be $2 and Loonie Auction.
The event has also been highlighted by Prince Rupert Special Events as part of the countdown to Winterfest 2023.
