Northern Savings has some spare cash, do you want some of it?

Local residents looking for funding for projects in the community, may wish to take a look at the Community Funding options from Northern Savings, which is currently considering requests that support community efforts.

The Northern Savings Community Funding program supports initiatives that work towards the betterment of the communities of the Northwest.

The main focus of their Funding preferences are in the areas of Community, Financial Literacy, Leadership and Environment.

Key to those looking for funding would be the ability to deliver projects that create benefit to the community for more than one year and would in the end strengthen and assist Northwest communities to grow.

Applicants should be of a non-profit nature and work towards the betterment of the community and offer up measurable results.

Northern Savings has a twice a year window for funding requests,  with announcements made in June and October, the current cycle for potential applicants will require that  funding requests be made to Northern Savings by May 31st.

The full list of preferences and guidelines can be found on the Northern Savings website as well as the application form for those interested in applying.

In addition to the funding program, Northern Savings also offers In-Kind resources to the community, you can find the application form  and further information on that program from the Northern Savings website.
