The soccer season is almost ready for kick off and to get the year off on the right foot, the Prince Rupert Youth Soccer Association is offering the first of a number of Free Coaching Clinics this Friday April 5th from 6:30 to 10 PM
The program is called Active Start and is designed for coaches in the Under 5 / Under 6 group and will work to develop basic technical skills in a Fun atmosphere. The clinic will be held in the front half of the main gym at the Civic Centre. Participants are advised to wear running shoes and comfortable clothes so that you can participate in activities if you are able! Those attending are asked to please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the clinic.
A Learn to Train clinic for coaches of the Under 10 to Under 12 division is also set for this weekend, while a clinic for coaches of 13 years and above is planned for the weekend of April 13/14.

The Prince Rupert Soccer Season is ready for launch next Monday, starting close to two and half months of activity on the pitches of Prince Rupert.
Registration closed on April 1st and division organizers will be working on the team lineups through the week, with players and their parents to hear from the coaches prior to the start of the season on Monday.
