Ecotrust looks for Manager for Skeena Program for 2019 and beyond

Senior Manager
A wide range of duties makes for the outline to a new employment opportunity with the Prince Rupert office of ecotrust Canada, as the North Coast community organization seeks out he skills of Senior Manager for its Skeena Program.

The Prince Rupert based position will start out as a one year contract, with the potential for annual renewal after the initial term, with the main scope of the job that of fostering and holding community and partner relationships; overseeing office staff and advancing strategic decision-making and planning for Skeena programs; ensuring high quality project delivery;

As well the successful applicant will be tasked with identifying and pursuing funding opportunities to achieve Ecotrust Canada’s mission.

Among the projects that currently take place as part of the ecotrust Canada operations in the city are the North Coast Innovation Lab and community fisheries programs, along with plans for other projects as the need arises in the community.

One recent project was a wide ranging study into the British Columbia fishery which ecotrust Canada and the David Suzuki Foundation put together releasing their findings last November.
