BC Mayors Caucus meetings take Mayor Brain to Prince George

A gathering of British Columbia's Mayors in Prince George is the
latest destination for Prince Rupert Mayor Lee Brain


The Mayors of British Columbia have assembled in Prince George this week taking part in a three day conference to explore notes of shared interest and take in a number keynote addresses and panel discussions on municipal governance.

Mayor Lee Brain made note of his latest travels and his attendance at the event through his Facebook page on Sunday.

Among some of the themes the Mayor and his fellow municipal leaders have explored so  far have been Emergency Management Modernization, and Balancing Social and Economic Prosperity.

Participants in the Mayor's Caucus also heard more on the opportunities and implications of Clean BC programs on Monday, as well as to take a tour of local initiatives in the Prince George region.

Today's agenda theme features a Discussion session that will explore Calls to Action for municipalities across the province.

The conference which has been taking place at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre comes to an end later today, a look at the full agenda can be reviewed here.
