To win the prize
You must realize
That words will count the most
So enter the fray
And offer your say
To see if you soon can boast
Calling all would be Poes, Longfellows, Atwoods and Musgraves, the Prince Rupert Library is seeking your poetic compositions for a contest asking contributors to share on the theme of " What Home means to me"
The competition is part of the Library's celebration of National Poetry Month, with registration forms available for three categories:
Children ages 7-11,
Youth from 12 to 17 years of age
Adults 18 and above.
The submissions can be handwritten or typed on one page, with a 1 inch border
The Deadline for contributions to the contest is 5 PM on April 26th.
The winning submissions will be on display in the library during the week of April 29th.
Prizes will be awarded on May 3rd
