City seeks members for Library Board


The City of Prince Rupert is looking for some volunteers to help shape the future for the Prince Rupert Library, issuing a call this week for submissions of interest for open positions available as Library Trustees.

Letters of interest in the positions must be delivered to City Hall by February 16th, included in your correspondence should be a description of your skills and experiences that may be relevant to the positions on the Library Board.

The City notes that they have a commitment towards merit, equity and diversity and welcome applications from visible minority groups, women, First Nations and people with disabilities, persons of minority sexual identification and gender identities.
