Prince Rupert Library launches Black History Month for Prince Rupert

Check out the display
for Black History Month at
the Prince Rupert library
February is Black History month across the Canada and the United States and in Prince Rupert, the city's library is using their popular Reading Challenge to highlight the wealth of material that they have on hand.

To participate in the challenge, all you have to do is read a book by a Black author, fiction or non, poetry or short story!

The library notes that there are a lot of titles to choose from, books in our library or e-collection, as well as other sources.

The display of in stock material can be found on the second floor of the Library, with more titles available as part of the main floor display.

You can also ask one of the Library staff to direct you to other options including out of town reservations that you may wish to make to participate in the Challenge.
