Prince Rupert prepares to celebrate its multicultural fabric this Sunday

North Coast residents can explore the may cultures
of the world that have made Prince Rupert home.
Thatwith a celebration event taking place Sunday
at the Highliner Plaza Hotel

The Highliner Plaza Hotel will be the cross roads of the world for Prince Rupert on Sunday and the community celebrate the multicultural diversity that makes for the North Coast.

The afternoon will be one that feature performances from a number of local groups, a range of traditional foods from many corners of the glob and much, much more.

The event takes place from 1-4 PM and has been organized by the North Coast Immigrant and Cultural Services Society.

That organization assists newcomers to the community make the transition from their old world to their new in Prince Rupert.

Sunday's three hours of multicultural experiences is free of charge for those that drop in on the celebration.
